Today we celebrate women across Papua New Guinea, and especially the many women contributing within civil society spaces working on governance, accountability, and responsible management of our natural resources. Women in this space continue to bring leadership, experience, commitment, and perspective to discussions that shape stronger institutions and better outcomes for communities. The theme “Give to Gain” reminds us that when women contribute their knowledge, time, and leadership, communities and institutions benefit from stronger and more inclusive governance.
